Hello Mandom faithful! It has been quite a while since I’ve contributed anything to the site, so first and foremost, allow me to apologize for my absence. I am taking on a role that you all will hopefully find informative, funny, thought provoking, and undeniably Mandom.

I live in Washington, D.C., which is a booming metropolitan city where being “in the know” is part and parcel of residing in the district. Be it politics, business mergers, or the newest start-up to break into the Fortune 500; if something of importance happens tomorrow morning, odds are there’s going to be at least two people in a bar discussing it during happy hour that evening. So what I will try to do is take our popular “This Guy” segment and expand its reach beyond ESPN analysts that drink & drive or the latest winner of the Kardashian sweepstakes. USS Enterprise with Navy XO Video Scandal

This is the video that some jokesters in the Navy made a couple years ago that has surfaced recently and making a bunch of noise. Faces blurred and language beeped by The Virginian Pilot.

Navy executive officer of the nuclear powered USS Enterprise participates in the creation of a video that's full of crazy raunchiness and gay bashing. The history of similar videos created by Navy sailors were used to entertain and blow off some steam while serving time abroad. But the videos usually weren't this offensive. The Navy released a statement saying that they aren't pleased.
